As we near the end of another amazing summer in the Vail Valley, we look at what’s been happening in your market so far in 2016. We’ve seen 6 residential transactions through the first 8 months of the year, which is on pace with lasts year’s activity. The average sales price for a residential listing in Cascade Village is at $1.9million, an 11% increase over the 2015 average. Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate represented 5 of the 6 listings to sell in this market and holds a 70% market share in sales volume YTD. Inventory remains low across the Vail Valley, and Cascade is no exception to that trend. There are currently only 14 active residential listings on the market in this neighborhood.
